The first Xiaomi Mi Mix launched in 2016, kicking off the company’s testbed smartphone series. We haven’t seen a new Mi Mix phone since 2019 when the third iteration made its debut. That is until now. Today, Xiaomi made the long-awaited Mi Mix 4 official packing a host of new features.
Headlining this list is the new 20MP under-display camera with 1.6 μm pixels. It’s placed beneath a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also includes a 4,500mAh battery. Xiaomi reckons it will take just 15 minutes to top it up entirely using the included 120W wired charging support. 50W wireless charging also features. The Mi Mix 4 also includes a ceramic body, audio tuned by Harman Kardon, a triple rear camera array (108MP+13MP+8MP), and a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC.
That’s an impressive cocktail, but there’s no indication that the phone will be offered in other markets.
